2013 Nissan GTR | Two-Step Paint Correction & Max G+ Ceramic Coating

What Makes The GTR So Special?
The 2013 Nissan GT-R, often nicknamed “Godzilla,” is a Japanese engineering marvel that blends cutting-edge performance with everyday usability. It’s a supercar that doesn’t demand a supercar budget—or driving skill to extract serious performance. Here’s why it stands out:
Under the hood of the 2013 GT-R is a hand-built 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, known as the VR38DETT. This powerhouse delivers 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque, an increase over the previous year thanks to engine refinements and improved intake efficiency.
Paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and Nissan’s ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, the GT-R rockets from 0–60 mph in about 2.7–2.9 seconds. That’s Ferrari-level speed from a vehicle with four seats and a trunk.

What Did We Do To This GTR?
We began with a full exterior detail & decontamination to remove any dirt or debris. We then got into our two-step paint correction to restore the clarity and depth in the paint. The goal was to remove years of swirling, micro-scratches, and oxidation that were dulling its finish. After this multi-stage process, the paintwork was incredibly glossy, with a mirror-like reflection that brought out every contour of this beast. Now we have to preserve this freshly corrected surface with our System X Ceramic Coating.

The Ceramic Coating Application
Next, we applied our System X Max G+ Ceramic Coating to the entire exterior, including the paint, trim, headlights & taillights and well as the wheels, calipers & windshield. This ultra-durable coating is designed to enhance gloss, provide superior protection against UV rays, chemical stains, and contaminants, and make maintenance easier. On a performance car like the GTR, ceramic coating is more than just cosmetic—it ensures the vehicle stays protected and looking amazing at high speeds and in varying conditions.

The Importance Of Ceramic Coating Wheels & Calipers
For an even more comprehensive protection, we removed all four wheels and gave the entire wheel setup the attention it deserved. The inner barrels and calipers were deep cleaned, removing years of brake dust and grime that had built up from spirited driving.
After cleaning, we applied ceramic coating to the wheels, calipers, and even the suspension components. These areas often go untouched but are crucial in a car that performs like this. Coating them adds a protective barrier against corrosion and keeps them looking sharp, even under pressure.
With Brembo brakes and massive rotors, the GT-R’s stopping power is impressive but so is the brake dust it creates. This is why it’s crucial to ceramic coat the brake calipers and all wheel surfaces.
