This 2022 GMC Sierra Denali came into the shop looking for long-term protection and a serious shine—and we delivered just that. We started off this job with a full two-stage exterior detail and decontamination process. This included a thorough hand wash, chemical decontamination to break down iron and bonded contaminants, and a clay bar treatment to ensure the paint surface was clean and smooth before any correction work began. This is a crucial first step in laying the foundation for a flawless finish and long-lasting ceramic protection.
One-Step Paint Correction for Deep Gloss
Next, we performed a one-step paint correction to remove surface imperfections, micro-scratches, and dealership swirls that were dulling the paint. This truck came in coated in a beautiful but unforgiving black finish—black paint shows everything. Our correction process brought back the clarity and gloss, allowing the metallic flake in the paint to truly pop under the shop lights.
Pro+ Ceramic Coating for Ultimate Protection
With the paint perfected, we applied our Pro+ Ceramic Coating. This high-performance coating forms a durable layer of protection against UV rays, salt, road grime, bird droppings, and more. For a large truck like the Denali, especially in black, ceramic coating isn’t just cosmetic—it significantly cuts down on wash time, prevents staining, and keeps the vehicle looking freshly detailed far longer than traditional waxes or sealants.
Wheels Off: Deep Cleaning & Ceramic Coating
We didn’t stop there. We removed all four wheels to give the inner barrels and brake calipers a deep clean. These areas are typically overlooked, but they collect heavy brake dust, dirt, and debris over time. Detailing these parts ensures a 360° clean that really completes the job.
To finish the process, we ceramic coated the wheels and calipers as well. This step makes a big difference in the long-term maintenance of any truck, helping to prevent corrosion and making wheel cleaning much faster and easier. For trucks with custom or black wheels, this is especially valuable.
